This document is not a pulp magazine but rather an official United States Air Force UFO report from March 1960, specifically a follow-up investigation record from the 790th Radar Squadron at Kirksville Air Force Station. The report documents a civilian sighting reported by a 56-year-old farmer near Downing, Missouri, on January 26, 1960. The witness observed a round, silver object approximately ten inches in diameter floating southeast for approximately one hour at 45 degrees elevation and two miles distance. The report includes standard Air Force technical data forms for UFO sightings, weather conditions (clear visibility, 15 miles), and concludes that no explanation could be obtained following investigation.
