This document is not a pulp magazine but a collection of U.S. Air Force records concerning an unidentified flying object sighting. The materials include UFO investigation forms and military correspondence from 1958–1959. On October 27, 1958, witnesses near Union Dale, Pennsylvania (Mr. and Mrs. B) reported observing an object flying at high speed, just above treetops, emitting a loud swishing sound. They described it as a large grey cigar-shaped craft with a horizontal crosspiece resembling an aircraft elevator on its tail, resembling a jet aircraft without wings. The reports trace communication between Mitchell Air Force Base, the Air Technical Intelligence Center at Wright-Patterson, and Stewart Air Force Base regarding the sighting investigation, with difficulties in obtaining follow-up information and tracing the original report's origins.
