This document is a Project 10073 UFO report from October 7, 1957, filed from Richards-Gebaur Air Force Base, Missouri. A civilian fireman in Overland, Missouri reported observing a single unidentified object for one minute traveling eastward. The object appeared as a reddish-orange head or pin shape, turning white as it disappeared. Observed overhead at glance, the object passed over the horizon at 090-270 degrees on a straight path before vanishing. The report documents no sound or other sensory phenomena. Wind data at various altitudes (surface through 80,000 feet) is recorded with varying direction and speed. Captain John A. Baker, Senior Controller, provided "no comment." The document was transmitted through multiple Air Force command channels including ADC and the Director of Intelligence at USAF Headquarters.
