This document is not a pulp magazine but rather a historical government record. It consists of two UFO sighting report forms from 1952-1957. The first is an ATIC (Air Technical Intelligence Center) Project 10073 Record Card documenting a ground-visual observation near Vandalia, Ohio, of a round object climbing northward. The observer contacted ATIC Command Post; local weather bureau confirmation indicated a balloon launched five minutes prior. The second is an extract from a June 1957 SDO (Security and Duty Officer) report by Captain R.C. Webb describing a similar incident—a civilian report of a balloon north of Vandalia field moving slowly northward, confirmed by Vandalia Weather Station records showing a balloon release at 1830 hours drifting north. Both records classify the sightings as probable balloon phenomena.
