This document contains two letters regarding unidentified flying objects, submitted to the U.S. Air Force in 1954. The first letter references an event from several years prior, describing "an energy" that appeared as a flash, allegedly converting soldiers to ash—connecting it obliquely to atomic experimentation and claiming other unexplained phenomena have occurred in the spiritual realm. The second letter, postmarked from Colombia, Mexico, describes a sighting on March 5th between 7:30 and 10 PM. The witness observed a blue object emitting white light, initially thought to be a meteor. The object did not fall but glided away, shrinking until confused with stars, accompanied by a distinct screeching sound and traveling southward over approximately three minutes. The Air Force evaluator noted the first witness had possible psychological issues, classifying the report as unreliable.
