This document comprises declassified U.S. Air Force intelligence reports from March-April 1952 concerning unidentified aerial phenomena observed over Japan and the Belgian Congo. The primary account details a sighting near Misawa AFB on 29 March 1952, in which a T-6 pilot observed a small, disc-shaped metallic object approximately eight inches in diameter performing unusual aerial maneuvers near an F-84 fighter. The object reportedly decelerated instantaneously, fluttered within twenty feet of the F-84's fuselage with rocking motions at forty-degree banks, then accelerated into a steep vertical climb. A secondary report describes fiery disks over uranium mines in Elisabethville, Belgian Congo, performing curved flight patterns before a zigzag ascent. Intelligence evaluations attribute the phenomena to light refraction, balloon-borne antennas, or unidentified jet aircraft, pending further technical analysis.
