This is not a pulp magazine issue, but rather a U.S. Department of the Navy document from January 1951. The material consists of official correspondence regarding an unconventional aircraft sighting reported by two naval tower operators at Naval Air Station Lakehurst, New Jersey on December 27, 1950. The operators observed a white flashing light, believed to be circular in shape, traveling at high speed and making a tight circular turn before disappearing in a south-southeasterly direction at approximately 5,000 feet altitude. The sighting lasted approximately forty-five seconds under clear skies with fifteen miles visibility. The document forwards the incident report through naval intelligence channels to the Air Force Office of Special Investigations.
