This issue contains ten detective and crime stories. "Bullets on Blue Monday" by Harold Francis Sorensen follows Steve McKenna, who becomes a corpse bodyguard with fatal consequences. Ernest Johnson's "Pass-Key to the Morgue" involves a criminal engaged in a gun game ending in suicide. Fred Dawson's "Sleuth by Proxy" features a phonograph checker who hears a disc carrying a murderous message. Thomas Lamar's novelette "Murder—in the Bag" concerns a newspaper reporter whose own name nearly appears in the obituary column he covers. Additional stories include "Daggers of Doom" by Marty Lyle, "Boomerang Swag" by Harris Clivesey, "Case of the Living Corpse" by Pauli Selonke, "Phantom Hideout" by Stanley King, "Crystal Clue" by Leon Dupont, and "Homicide Legacy" by Kenneth McNary, involving a detective summoned from a women's prison by a mysterious key.
