This is a pressed botanical herbarium specimen, not a political cartoon or caricature. The image shows two dried plant stems of Lindenbergia philippensis, a flowering herb in the family Orobanchaceae, mounted on archival paper with a color calibration chart, a metric scale rule, and institutional labels from the Natural History Museum, London. Collector: Cuming, no. 909, Islands of the Philippines, 1841. A later annotation identifies it as an isotype, revised by G. Vetter in 1976. No satirical tradition applies here. Describing it as caricature would be factually false, and fabricating one would misrepresent a legitimate scientific document.
