Zoran Janjetov
Zoran Janjetov, born 23 June 1961 in Serbia, is a Serbian comic book artist best known for his detailed, atmospheric illustrations on Alejandro Jodorowsky's *Avant l'Incal* and *The Technopriests*. Before comics, Janjetov was the vocalist for the Yugoslav art rock band Heroina, with whom he recorded one album in the mid-1980s. He entered the comics scene in the late 1980s, quickly becoming one of the most prominent creators from the former Yugoslavia to achieve international recognition. His signature style—meticulous linework, moody chiaroscuro, and a flair for sci-fi and fantasy—made him a natural collaborator with Jodorowsky, with whom he co-created the prequel to *The Incal* and the sprawling *Technopriests* saga. Over a career spanning from 1988 to 2025, Janjetov has been credited as artist, colorist, inker, and letterer on 68 issues, with his most frequent titles including *Die Techno-Väter*, *Les Technopères*, and *Europa*. His work has been published worldwide, cementing his legacy as a key figure in European graphic novels.
