Sergio Mulko (June 3, 1946 – June 14, 2014) was an Argentine comic artist best known for his long tenure drawing *Nippur de Lagash*. Born in General Roca, Río Negro, he moved to Mar del Plata as a child and began publishing with Buenos Aires' Columba Publishing house. He initially collaborated with *Nippur* creator Lucho Olivera, alternating art duties on the series. During this period, he adopted the pseudonym Leo Gioser to write scripts for Olivera's *Gilgamesh, el inmortal*. Mulko holds the record for drawing the most episodes of *Nippur*—over 150—across two stints (1972–1976 and 1988–1994), and many fans consider him the artist who brought the highest graphical quality to the strip after Olivera himself. For Columba, he also drew *The Samurai* and *Espartaco*, and with writer Morahín produced a well-regarded adaptation of *Planet of the Apes*. He worked for Editorial Record, Editorial García Ferré, and an Italian publisher. His career included a brief period as a layout artist for television animation at the Jaime Díaz Studios. In our catalog, he is credited as artist and inker on 20 issues from 1972 to 2009, with his most frequent titles being *Lanciostory*, *D'artagnan*, and *The Phantom: Ghost Who Walks*.
