Roberto De Angelis
1959–
Roberto De Angelis was born on 16 December 1959 in Naples, Italy. He entered the comics field in 1981, initially working on adult-oriented and splatter series before finding a long-term home at Sergio Bonelli Editore in 1989. There, he contributed stories to the science-fiction series *Nathan Never* and became the regular cover artist beginning with issue #60. His most celebrated work, *Kor-One*, was completed in 1992. De Angelis also collaborated on the *Nathan Never* spin-off *Legs Weaver*. Over a career spanning from 1991 to 2025, he has been credited as artist, colorist, and inker on 54 issues, with his most frequent credits appearing on *Tex Willer*, *Nathan Never*, and related titles such as *Nathan Never Annozero* and *Unge Tex Willer*. His style, refined through years of gritty, detailed work, made him a reliable presence in Italian genre comics. While he has not received major international awards, his contributions to Bonelli’s flagship series have solidified his reputation among European readers.
