Riichiro Inagaki
Riichiro Inagaki, born June 20, 1976, in Tokyo, is a manga writer best known for two long-running Shonen Jump hits: the American-football saga *Eyeshield 21* and the science-survival epic *Dr. Stone*. He began his career in 2001 with one-shots for Shogakukan's *Big Comic Spirits* before moving to Shueisha's *Weekly Shōnen Jump*. There, he launched *Eyeshield 21* in 2002 with artist Yusuke Murata, a collaboration that ran for seven years and established his reputation for high-energy sports storytelling. After that series ended in 2009, Inagaki spent several years working with various artists—including Bonjae, Katsunori Matsui, and Ryoichi Ikegami—on one-shots across different magazines. In 2017, he teamed with artist Boichi for *Dr. Stone*, a post-apocalyptic tale of rebuilding civilization through science, which became his second major success. He also created the manga *Trillion Game*. Inagaki has three children with Orie Kimoto. His work is credited on 59 issues in our catalog, spanning 2005 to 2025, with *Eyeshield 21* and *Dr. Stone* as his most prolific titles.
