The daughter of fantasy novelist Terry Pratchett and Lyn Purves, she initially worked as a journalist before transitioning to game narrative.

In comics, Pratchett was credited as a writer on 21 issues from 2008 to 2018, primarily for Dark Horse. Her most significant comic work includes the *Tomb Raider* series, *Mirror’s Edge*, and the prequel *Tomb Raider: The Beginning*. She co-created the *Tomb Raider Library Edition* collections, expanding Lara Croft’s origin story across media.
