Randy Glasbergen was an American cartoonist and humorous illustrator born on February 20, 1957. He is best known for his syndicated newspaper strip *The Better Half*, which ran from 1982 to 2014, and for a prolific freelance career that spanned over three decades. Glasbergen’s cartoons appeared in a wide range of publications and media, including *The Wall Street Journal*, *Reader’s Digest*, *Good Housekeeping*, and the *Harvard Business Review*, as well as on greeting cards for Hallmark and American Greetings, for which he also wrote text.
