Noel Van Horn
Noel Van Horn (born July 6, 1968, in the United States) is a cartoonist best known for his work on Disney comics, particularly those starring Mickey Mouse. He is the son of William Van Horn, a celebrated Disney comics artist, and has lived in Canada for much of his career. Van Horn entered the family trade in the early 1990s, and his first credited work appeared in 1994. Over the next three decades, he contributed to over 30 issues as an artist, colorist, inker, and writer for titles such as *Donald Duck & Co*, *Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse and Friends*, and *Walt Disney's Comics and Stories*. His style is clean and expressive, with a lively, cartoonish energy that suits the classic Disney cast. He frequently collaborated with his father and other Disney veterans, and his original stories often balanced humor with gentle adventure. Van Horn co-created several new characters and scenarios for the Mickey Mouse universe, though his most enduring legacy is his steady, high-quality work on the character's long-running adventures. He remained active in the field through 2025, and his contributions have been recognized with multiple industry awards, including the prestigious Eisner Award.
