Nakaba Suzuki
Nakaba Suzuki was born on February 8, 1977, in Japan. He is best known as the creator of the fantasy manga *The Seven Deadly Sins*, which ran from 2012 to 2020 and became one of the best-selling manga series of all time, with over 55 million copies in circulation. In 2021, he launched a direct sequel, *Four Knights of the Apocalypse*. Suzuki began his career in manga in the late 1990s, working on series such as *Rising Impact* and *Blizzard Axel* before finding his signature voice in high-fantasy adventure. His art style is characterized by dynamic action sequences, expressive character designs, and a blend of Western fantasy motifs with shōnen storytelling. He is credited as artist, colorist, and inker on 13 issues in our catalog, primarily for *The Seven Deadly Sins* and its omnibus editions. Suzuki’s key collaborator has been his editor, though he works largely as a solo creator. His work has earned him a place among the most commercially successful manga artists of his generation, and his legacy continues through the ongoing sequel series.
