Michelangelo La Neve
Michelangelo La Neve (14 March 1959 – 18 January 2022) was an Italian comics writer and screenwriter, best known for his long-running work on horror and crime series. Born in Italy, he entered the comics industry in the late 1980s, quickly establishing himself as a versatile storyteller. His most frequent collaborations were with artists on the flagship titles of Sergio Bonelli Editore, particularly *Dylan Dog*, where he wrote numerous episodes that deepened the series' gothic noir atmosphere. He also contributed significantly to *Diabolik*, the classic thriller series, and *Julia*, a crime procedural featuring a criminologist protagonist. La Neve’s writing style was marked by tight plotting, psychological depth, and a flair for unsettling suspense.
