Matsuri Hino

Matsuri Hino is a Japanese manga artist best known for creating the supernatural romance series *Vampire Knight*, which was later adapted into an anime. She was born in Sapporo, Hokkaidō, and made her professional debut in 1995 with the one-shot *Ko no Yume ga Same Tara* in *LaLa DX*. Her work is characterized by elegant, detailed linework and a flair for gothic-romantic drama, often exploring themes of forbidden love and duality.
