Joseph Wight

Joseph Wight is best known as the writer and artist of *Twilight X*, a sprawling post-apocalyptic war comic published by Antarctic Press in limited series and one-shots from 1989 to 2007. Born in the United States, Wight entered comics in the late 1980s, bringing a detailed, kinetic style to the medium. His work is characterized by dense linework and a gritty, cinematic approach to action and military sci-fi. Over a career spanning from 1991 to 2013, he contributed to over thirty issues as artist, colorist, inker, letterer, and writer. Beyond *Twilight X*, his credits include *Mangazine* and *Ninja High School Version 2*, where he collaborated with creator Ben Dunn. Wight’s signature creation, *Twilight X*, remains his most enduring work, a self-contained universe of war and survival that he shepherded across multiple formats, including the *Twilight X: Interlude* one-shot and a *Pocket Manga* collection.
