Jennifer Robertson

Jennifer Robertson was born on November 24, 1971, in Canada. While best known as an actress, writer, and comedian—particularly for her role as Jocelyn Schitt on the CBC sitcom *Schitt's Creek* (2015–2020), for which she won a Screen Actors Guild Award—her earlier career included work in comics. Robertson contributed to the medium as an artist, colorist, inker, and writer on 20 issues between 1962 and 1966. Her most credited titles include *Bildermärchen*, *Eventyrserien*, *Pixi Tales*, *Sagoserien*, *Sprookjes in beeld*, and *Illustrierte Klassiker* (the German-language edition of *Classics Illustrated*). This period of her career predates her television work, which also includes appearances on *This Hour Has 22 Minutes* (2003–2004), *Comedy Inc.* (2003–2010), *Twitches* (2005), *Wingin' It* (2010–2012), and *Ginny & Georgia* (2021–present). Robertson has received four Canadian Screen Award nominations for her acting.
