Jeff Katz

Jeff Katz is an American film producer and comic book writer, best known for his work on genre movies such as *The Pope's Exorcist*, *Snakes on a Plane*, and *Freddy vs. Jason*. Born in the United States, he entered the comic book industry in 2007 and remained active through 2017, contributing to 32 issues. His most credited work includes the time-traveling superhero series *Booster Gold*, as well as the horror crossovers *Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash* and its sequel *Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash: The Nightmare Warriors*. He also wrote for *Pilot Season: Crosshair* and the *DC Comics Graphic Novel Collection*. Katz's style often blends high-concept action with dark humor and genre-savvy storytelling, frequently collaborating with artists like Jason Craig and Tony Shasteen. He co-created the character Crosshair for Top Cow's Pilot Season initiative.
