Jason Henderson was born on September 4, 1971, in the United States. He is best known for his work across multiple media, particularly as the writer of the *Sword of Dracula* comic series from Image Comics and the *Alex Van Helsing* young adult novel series from HarperCollins. His novel *Alex Van Helsing: Vampire Rising* earned a spot on the 2011 Texas Library Association Lone Star Reading List. Henderson also wrote *The Element of Fire*, a *Highlander* franchise novel that became a *Locus* best-seller, and co-created the Tokyopop manga series *Psy-comm* with Tony Salvaggio. In comics, his credited work spans 12 issues from 2003 to 2017, with notable titles including *Clockwerx*, *Shadowland: Daughters of the Shadow*, *Sylvia Faust*, and *Ben 10*.
