Jane Espenson
Jane Espenson, born on July 14, 1964, in the United States, is a television writer and producer whose career spans both sitcoms and serialized dramas. She is best known for her five-year tenure on *Buffy the Vampire Slayer*, where she shared a Hugo Award with Drew Goddard for the episode "Conversations with Dead People." Her path into comics followed naturally from her television work, with her first credited comic book writing appearing in 2001. Over the next decade, she contributed to 21 issues, primarily within the *Buffy* universe, including *Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Eight*, *Haunted*, *Tales of the Vampires*, and character-focused miniseries like *Riley* and *Jonathan*.
