Frank Le Gall
Frank Le Gall was born on 23 September 1959 in Rouen, France, and is best known as the creator of the acclaimed comic series *Théodore Poussin*. He began his career early, seeing his first work published at age 16 in the magazine *Pistil*. He subsequently joined the staff of *Spirou*, where he collaborated with Alain Clement on "Valry Bonpain," a series centered on a jazz musician. Le Gall's own creation, *Théodore Poussin*, stands as his signature achievement, a thoughtful adventure series that showcases his strengths as both writer and artist. His style is marked by a clean, expressive line and a gift for atmospheric storytelling. Over a career spanning from 1981 to 2023, he has contributed to 22 issues in our catalog, working as artist, colorist, inker, letterer, and writer. Beyond *Théodore Poussin*, his work appears in series such as *Theodor Pussel*, *De ongelofelijke avonturen van Kobijn*, *Herrn Hases haarsträubende Abenteuer*, *Jahresende*, and *Epix*. Le Gall's legacy is that of a distinctive European comics author whose quiet, character-driven narratives have earned him a devoted readership.
