Enzo Facciolo (2 October 1931 – 13 August 2021) was an Italian comic artist best known for his long-running work on the crime series *Diabolik*. Born in Italy, Facciolo began his career in the 1950s, drawing for various fumetti publishers before joining the team at Astorina, the home of *Diabolik*, in the early 1970s. He became a regular artist and inker on the series from 1974 onward, contributing to dozens of issues over the decades. His style was clean, dynamic, and well-suited to the shadowy, suspenseful world of the master thief Diabolik and his partner Eva Kant. Facciolo often collaborated with writers and other artists in the Astorina stable, but his own steady hand on the title made him a familiar presence to longtime readers. His work extended to special editions such as *Diabolik Swiisss* and *Diabolik R*. He remained active into the 2020s, leaving behind a substantial body of work that helped define the visual identity of one of Italy’s most iconic comic characters. Facciolo’s contributions were honored by the industry, though specific major awards are not recorded in available sources. He passed away in 2021 at the age of 89.
