Danny Bilson was born on July 26, 1956, in the United States. He is best known as a writer, director, and producer who has worked across film, television, video games, and comic books. With his frequent collaborator Paul De Meo, Bilson co-wrote the 1991 film *The Rocketeer* and co-created the television series *Viper*, *The Sentinel*, and the 1990 *The Flash* series. In comics, he has written multiple issues of *The Flash*, along with adaptations of *The Rocketeer* and the miniseries *Red Menace*. Bilson’s writing credits span from 1991 to 2016, with notable work on *Flash: The Fastest Man Alive* and *The Rocketeer: The Official Movie Adaptation*. He also contributed scripts to video games such as *James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing*. Later in his career, Bilson became a tenured faculty member at the University of Southern California, where he serves as Director of USC Games and Chair of the School of Cinematic Arts’ Interactive Media and Games Division. His screenplay for *Da 5 Bloods* (2020), co-written with De Meo, was released after De Meo’s death.
