D. Curtis Johnson is an American programmer and comic book writer best known for co-creating the DC Comics series *Chase* with artist J. H. Williams III. He also established the Department of Extranormal Operations (DEO) and transformed the character Mister Bones from a minor supervillain into a key bureaucratic figure within that organization. Johnson contributed to numerous *Secret Files* stories and was active in comics from 1998 to 2017, with writing credits on 13 issues, primarily for *Chase*, *Young Justice*, and related specials. Writer Gail Simone has praised him as belonging in her personal hall of fame. Outside comics, Johnson participated in the DHMO hoax by creating a spoof website for DHMO.org. His birth and death dates are not publicly recorded.
