Arina Tanemura

Arina Tanemura, born March 12, 1978, in Japan, is a manga artist, illustrator, and character designer best known for her shōjo series from the late 1990s to mid-2000s. She debuted professionally in 1996 with the one-shot *The Style of the Second Love* in *Ribon Original*, followed by her first serial, *I.O.N*, in 1997 in *Ribon* magazine. Her major works include *Phantom Thief Jeanne*, *Full Moon o Sagashite*, and *The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross*, which brought her widespread popularity. Tanemura's art style and themes often explore young girls transforming into the women they aspire to become. Beyond comics, she has released two independent studio albums of songs based on her characters and has worked as a character designer for projects like *Idolish7*.
