She is married to illustrator Lars Fiske. Fiske is best known for her playful, hand-drawn style across both comics and picture books, often exploring everyday wonder and childhood curiosity. From 2005 to 2009, she published the comics magazine *Rabbel*, which became one of her most credited titles. Her picture book *Hallo Jorda* was nominated for the Norwegian Critics Prize in 2007, and *Små og store ting du kan lage selv* won two prizes in 2010. She received the Bokkunstprisen in 2014 and was awarded the Brage Prize Honorary Prize in 2025.
