Yakko
Yakko made their comics debut in 1994, stepping onto the page in Superman & Batman Magazine courtesy of Kelley Puckett and Mike Parobeck — a lively Copper/Modern Age entry from Welsh Publishing Group that dropped this character right into the thick of superhero action. With appearances spanning Justice League America and Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?, Yakko clearly had a taste for adventure across wildly different corners of the comics world. Sharing pages with the likes of The Flash, Wonder Woman, and Wally West makes for pretty stellar company, and the presence of Dot and Wakko nearby will ring a very familiar bell for fans of a certain animated era. Four catalog appearances make Yakko a genuinely rare find — a compact but colorful slice of mid-nineties comics history worth tracking down.
