Woody
Woody Henderson is the fast-talking, irresponsible half of an unlikely superhero duo. After a freak accident bonds him to his estranged adoptive brother Eric (Quantum), the two must clang their energy bands together every 24 hours or disintegrate — reluctant partners whether they like it or not.
Bursting onto the scene in 2013 courtesy of writer James Asmus and artist Ming Doyle, Woody is a Modern Age creation from Valiant Entertainment — a publisher known for crafting some of the sharpest, most irreverent superhero comics of the era. With a relatively compact but memorable footprint across titles like Quantum and Woody! and its deluxe editions, this character inhabits a corner of the Valiant universe populated by colorful company: Eric Henderson, Quantum, and even the legendary Vincent Van Goat. Eight appearances may sound modest, but in a line as carefully curated as Valiant's, every panel counts — and for fans who love their comics with wit and personality baked right in, Woody is absolutely worth tracking down.
