A cheerful little corner of DC's mid-fifties funny-animal world, Twiddle debuted in Flippity & Flop #22 in 1955, arriving right at the tail end of the Golden Age when lighthearted all-ages comics were a staple of the spinner rack. Sharing pages with the likes of Twaddle, Flippity, Flop, and the rest of that merry cast, Twiddle carved out a cozy niche across roughly two dozen appearances through the late fifties.
