Few characters capture the optimism of 1960s British comics quite like Troy Tempest, who splashed onto the scene in the very first issue of TV Century 21 in 1965 β a Silver Age debut as bold as they come. Created by Alan Fennell and Eric Eden, he's a fixture of the beloved Century 21 Publications universe, sharing adventures across TV Century 21, Action 21, and Countdown alongside a remarkable cast that includes Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward, "Phones" Sheridan, and Steve Zodiac. That kind of company speaks volumes about the rich, action-packed world he inhabits β a world of futuristic heroes and high-stakes adventure that defined a generation of young British readers. With a publishing life stretching all the way to 1992, Troy Tempest is a genuine piece of Silver Age history well worth seeking out.
