Troubadix

Troubadix is the Swedish-language name for Cacofonix, the village bard of the Gaulish settlement in the Asterix series. Despite his enthusiastic love of singing, his performances are universally considered unbearable by his fellow villagers.

Few characters in Bronze Age comics have earned their place quite so memorably through sheer comic presence as Troubadix, who made his catalog debut in Asterix #15 in 1975 under the legendary creative partnership of Goscinny and Uderzo. Appearing across multiple Asterix series published through 1986, he keeps lively company with beloved figures like Asterix, Obelix, Miraculix, and Majestix, right at the heart of that irreverent Gaulish world.
