The Lion

Fresh from the pages of 2026's Detective Comics #1104, The Lion is one of the newest additions to DC's storied Gotham mythology, brought to life by the acclaimed creative team of Tom Taylor and Mikel Janín. With only a handful of appearances so far, this Modern Age debut is still writing its story — but sharing the page with the likes of Bruce Wayne and Barbara Gordon (in both her Batgirl and Oracle roles) is a hell of a way to make an entrance. Early days, yes, but when a character steps onto the stage of Detective Comics alongside Gotham's finest, that's a debut worth watching closely.
