The Crow

A brooding figure born in the mid-1990s indie comics scene, The Crow as catalogued here made their debut in Kitchen Sink Press's Death Rattle #2 in 1995, courtesy of creator Simon Morse — entering a world already haunted by the mythology that dark, atmospheric publisher loved to nurture. With appearances spread across The Crow: Dead Time and the evocatively titled J. O'Barr's The Crow #0 "A Cycle of Shattered Lives", this iteration inhabits a small but richly noir corner of the Copper/Modern Age. Six appearances across a tight 1995–1998 window make every issue a genuine find for collectors drawn to Kitchen Sink's fearless, boundary-pushing output.
