Emerging from the mid-nineties independent comics scene, Temblor made their debut in StormQuest #3 (1995), a Caliber Press title brought to life by the creative team of Tom Bierbaum, Mary Bierbaum, and Willie Peppers. Caliber was a haven for bold, creator-driven storytelling during the Copper/Modern Age, and StormQuest placed Temblor in the company of intriguing figures like Shrike, Shalimar, and the enigmatic Time Stepper.
