Teetje

A charming bit of Bronze Age Flemish comics history, Teetje made their debut in 1978 courtesy of creator Berck within the pages of Lowietje — a Dutch-language series from Oberon that offered something distinctly different from the American mainstream. Sharing those cozy pages with the likes of Lowietje, Jacob, Toffel, and Doortje, Teetje is part of a warm ensemble cast that gave this series its character. With only three catalog appearances across a brief 1978–1980 run, Teetje is a rare find — the kind of minor gem that makes digging through European comics back issues so rewarding for the dedicated collector.
