Stryke
London Night Studios was never short on edge, and Stryke is a prime example of the gritty, no-holds-barred energy that defined the indie comics explosion of the early '90s. Debuting in Razor #1 in 1992 — the very launch issue of London Night's flagship title — Stryke was there from the ground floor, created by Everette Hartsoe and Daniel Presedo alongside some of the most provocative characters of the Copper/Modern Age. Over a decade of appearances, Stryke carved out a presence across titles like Ultimate Strike, Razor, and the London Night Lingerie Special, sharing pages with fan-favorite characters including Razor, Poizon, and Tommi Gunn. With 25 catalog appearances and a run stretching into the 2000s, Stryke is a genuine artifact of the bold, boundary-pushing spirit that made small-press comics of this era so thrillingly alive.
