Slugger burst onto the Finnish comics scene in 1994, debuting in the pages of Myrkky spesiaali under the Egmont Kustannus banner — a Copper/Modern Age creation sharing panel space with a wonderfully offbeat cast that includes Kokonainen, Firkin, Puolikas, and the memorably named Pera Pervo.
