Galloping out of the Bronze Age on four hooves (or perhaps more), Sleipnir made their Marvel debut in Thor #306 in 1981, brought to life by the creative team of Mark Gruenwald, Ralph Macchio, Keith Pollard, and Chic Stone. A proud member of the Asgardian Gods, this legendary figure from Norse mythology found a home in Marvel's cosmic pantheon, sharing pages with the mightiest names in the Nine Realms — Thor, Odin, Hela, and Hermod among them. Appearing across a span of some thirty years in titles like Thor, Thor: Ragnarok, and Thor: The Trials of Loki, Sleipnir may have a compact catalog presence, but any appearance alongside that divine company carries real mythic weight — a rare and rewarding find for the dedicated Asgard enthusiast.
