Who is Satch?
Satch made their comics debut in the very first issue of AC Comics' FemForce back in 1985 — a Bronze Age launch that planted a flag for one of independent publishing's most distinctive superhero titles. Created by Bill Black and Mark Heike, this character has kept remarkable company over the years, sharing adventures with the likes of She-Cat, Ms. Victory, and Joan Wayne across FemForce, FemForce Omnibus, and Femforce: Origins. With a presence stretching all the way to 2009 and a key-issue appearance to their name, Satch is a genuine piece of AC Comics history — the kind of character that rewards the curious collector willing to dig into indie superhero publishing's rich corners.
