Who is Ryback?

Ryback is the comic-book incarnation of the real-life WWE professional wrestler, translated into comics form for NBM's WWE Superstars series alongside fellow roster members Triple H, John Cena, Kane, and Bray Wyatt.

Stepping out of the squared circle and onto the comic page, Ryback made his four-color debut in WWE Superstars #1 (2013), brought to life by the creative team of Mick Foley, Shane Riches, and Alitha Martinez for NBM Publishing. This Modern Age title threw him into a world populated by some of wrestling's biggest names — Triple H, Vince McMahon, Kane, Bray Wyatt, and John Cena among them — making for one seriously stacked roster of co-stars. His catalog presence is compact at five appearances, all within the series' 2013–2014 run, but for fans who love seeing WWE's larger-than-life personalities translated into comic art, that debut issue alone makes WWE Superstars a worthy addition to any collection.
