Roger Brunner

Roger Brunner made his entrance in 1987 with The New Humans #1 from Pied Piper Comics, a debut issue brought to life by creators David Lawrence and Ron Lim — the latter of whom would go on to become one of Marvel's most celebrated artists of the era. A Copper Age original from an independent publisher, Roger shares his adventures with the likes of Calvin Gordon, Kelly Brock, and Duke Goldberg, giving The New Humans a genuine ensemble feel. With only a handful of catalog appearances, he's a rare find for collectors with a taste for the indie gems that made the late '80s such a fertile, adventurous time for comics outside the Big Two.
