Roberto el Carca is a Spanish underground comics character created by Dutch cartoonist Joost Swarte, rendered in his signature clean-line style. He debuted in El Víbora, Spain's landmark alternative anthology, in 1982.

Roberto el Carca made his entrance in 1982 through the pages of El Víbora — the legendary Spanish underground anthology published by Ediciones La Cúpula that became a cornerstone of European alternative comics — brought to life by the acclaimed Dutch cartoonist Joost Swarte, whose clean-lined "clear line" aesthetic made him one of the most distinctive voices of his generation.
