Roadburner rolled onto the scene in 2003's Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye #5, a Modern Age entry into the vast IDW Transformers universe that spent its run chronicling the sprawling lore of Generation One. With appearances spread across the Official Guide Book and related series, Roadburner is very much a deep-cut figure — the kind of character that rewards the dedicated fan who loves digging into the encyclopedic corners of Cybertronian history. Sharing pages with the likes of Tracer, Runabout, and the Seacons Overbite and Skalor, Roadburner keeps genuinely colorful company, making those few appearances well worth tracking down for the completist with an eye for the obscure.
