Rico
Born into the gritty, street-level world of Marvel's Bronze Age, Rico made his debut in Daredevil #165 in 1980, introduced by the legendary creative team of Roger McKenzie and a then-rising Frank Miller at the very moment they were redefining what a superhero comic could be. It's rarefied company for any character β sharing pages with Daredevil himself, Matt Murdock, Peter Parker, Heather Glenn, and Becky Blake across some of the most celebrated issues in Marvel history. Rico may clock in with only a handful of catalog appearances, but every one of them lands in landmark territory: Daredevil by Frank Miller and Klaus Janson and Daredevil: Marked for Death are essential reading for any serious collector. A small presence in a very big story.
