Stepping out of the Swedish alternative comics scene, Redaktörn made their debut in MegaPyton #2 in 1992 — a Copper/Modern Age creation from the team of Mikael Grahn and Elisabeth Engstrand Sparring, published by Atlantic Förlags AB. This character carved out a niche across the pages of MegaPyton, Pyton, and Pyton skoldagbok through the 1990s, sharing those irreverent Scandinavian comics spaces with a wonderfully eclectic cast including Pervo-Kris, Buddy Bradley, and Benny Klimp. With 21 catalogued appearances across nearly a decade, Redaktörn is a genuine artifact of a lively, offbeat corner of Nordic comics culture that deserves more attention from collectors with a taste for the unexpected.
