Rahan
Rahan is a prehistoric warrior-wanderer, a Cro-Magnon man raised among the "Sons of Fear" who roams the savage ancient world armed with only his wits, his clawed necklace, and an innate drive to help those he encounters.
Born into the Bronze Age of comics and brought to life by the creative duo of Roger Lécureux and André Chéret, Rahan made his mark beginning with Rahan #2 in 1974 — launching a run that would prove astonishingly enduring, stretching all the way to 2020 across nearly five decades of publication. A fixture of Éditions Vaillant, this character anchors his own long-running series and has kept some wonderfully eclectic company on the page, sharing adventures with the likes of Lucky Luke's world — Rocky Luke, the Dalton brothers, and the lovable Rantanplan among them. Whether you're a devoted collector of Franco-Belgian comics or simply curious about a character with genuine staying power, Rahan is a fascinating corner of the medium well worth exploring.
